As Ross did with Mythology: Superman, in this piece he renders
Batman in a dramatic pose that brings the Dark Knight
up front and personal to the viewer.

Ross’ Mythology: Batman is given added strength with the artwork’s black background. Whereas in Mythology: Superman, small rays of light penetrating the Man of Steel, gave him a heroic appearance, in Mythology: Batman, we gain further insight to Batman being an anti-hero.
