  • “Origins: The Green Goblin” celebrates      the first appearance of The      Green Goblin.  Created by      Stan Lee  and Steve Ditko, The      Green Goblin is one of       Spider-Man’s most persistent archenemies and first appeared in July 1964 in “The Amazing Spider-Man      #14.”

Norman Osborn is the original and most well-known Green Goblin. Osborn was originally an amoral industrialist head of Oscorp and father of Spider-Man's best friend, Harry Osborn,  who took a serum which enhanced his physical abilities and intellect but also drove him to insanity. He adopted a  Halloween- themed appearance, dressing in a goblin costume, riding on a bat-shaped "Goblin

  • Glider", and using an arsenal of      high-tech weapons, notably grenade-like "Pumpkin Bombs", to      terrorize New York City.
  • “Origins: The Green Goblin” is the first in a series of first appearance covers to be      released as fine art giclee prints on canvas by MARVEL Fine Art. Customers      purchasing this artwork will have the opportunity to reserve the same      edition number in each of the series upon release. Each piece is hand-signed by Stan Lee.
  • An      edition of 5 pieces numbered 1/5-5/5 called “The Gold Standard Edition.”
